In October, 2009, the President Barack Obama signed the Fiscal Year 2010 National Defense Authorization Act, which includes a section to provide temporary authority for U.S. procurement officers to limit competition to, or provide a preference for non-lethal products and services that are from countries along the Northern Distribution Network. Such products and services are to be procured in support of stabilization and reconstruction operations in Afghanistan. Procurement officers may use the temporary authority to acquire non-lethal products and services produced in Azerbaijan and the neighboring countries. Join us to learn about how your company can benefit from this exceptional commercial opportunity.
