TRADE MISSIONS
To foster growth of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan, the USACC began launching Trade Missions in 2006. The goal of these Missions is to provide equal opportunities to both U.S. and Azerbaijani firms to expand their businesses. Azerbaijan had the fastest growing economy in the world in 2007. With unprecedented growth and development for the country expected to continue for many years, Azerbaijan represents an extraordinary business opportunity. According to the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Azerbaijan is one of the most attractive countries in the world for investment. While much of the economy has benefited from the oil and gas industry, myriad business opportunities exist in non-oil sectors. Current best prospects for U.S. non-oil products and services include. - architectural, construction & engineering services;
- building materials;
- transportation (aviation);
- telecommunications equipment and services;
- food processing/packaging equipment;
- agricultural machinery;
