USACC Awards

USACC Leadership Award was presented to H. E. Heydar Aliyev.

1999 Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to: His Excellency Heydar Aliyev, President, Republic of Azerbaijan.
The award was presented with an inscription with the words of Abraham Lincoln during his 1863 Gettyburg Address: "That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

1997 Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to: His Excellency Heydar Aliyev, President, Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mr. Richard Armitage, Deputy Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State
The awards were presented for their vision and success in securing improved relations between the United States and Azerbaijan.
