Reception

Join us for the one-day exhibition of handmade Azerbaijani rugs in New York City. Don't miss the chance to discover the artistry and skill behind each rug and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. Various designs – from traditional to contemporary styles, will immerse you in the beauty and sophistication of Azerbaijani carpet weaving. We will have patterns from almost all primary Azerbaijani carpet-weaving schools – Ganja, Gazakh, Guba, Karabakh, Nakhchivan, and Shirvan.

On March 27th, 2023, USACC and Azerkhalcha OJSC inaugurated the exhibition of Azerbaijani handmade rugs in Washington, D.C. This time we decided to bring these masterpieces woven by women living in rural Azerbaijan closer to you. By joining us, you will get exposed to the beauty and craftsmanship of Azerbaijani weaving. Moreover, you will get a chance to contribute to the empowerment of rural women weavers in Azerbaijan.

Our program will include welcoming remarks and cocktails. Program details to be published closer to the exhibition date.
