The United States - Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States are delighted to present a captivating exhibition of antique Azerbaijani rugs of the Safavid era in the heart of New York City, at the Turkish House. This extraordinary one-day exhibition will showcase thirteen uniquely preserved Azerbaijani rugs from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.

The remarkable collection of rugs is graciously provided by the passionate collector, Mr. Amir Oskouei. His commitment to preserving these masterpieces serves as a testament to his deep dedication to celebrating the rich history and craftsmanship of Azerbaijani carpets.

Mr. Amir Oskouei, an American-Azerbaijani from South Azerbaijan (present-day Iran), fled persecution by the Iranian regime to the United States to ensure his family's safety. His lifelong mission to collect and preserve Azerbaijani carpets is a testament to his father's legacy and his unwavering passion for Azerbaijan’s centuries-long carpet craftsmanship.

USACC cordially invites all individuals interested in exploring ancient Azerbaijani carpet craftsmanship to grace us with their presence at this one-day exhibition. The event promises to be an unforgettable experience, providing a unique insight into the captivating world of Azerbaijani carpets.
