Mr. Bryan Lopp, a seasoned leader in the aerospace industry, serves as the Director of International Operations at Boeing. Mr. Bryan Lopp's illustrious career at Boeing commenced in August 2011 when he joined the company's Government Operations as Director of International Operations and Policy. In this capacity, he collaborates closely with Boeing's international relations, sales, and strategy teams, effectively representing the interests of Boeing Commercial Airplanes before U.S. government agencies, foreign embassies, international finance institutions, and business associations. His efforts support the company's sales endeavors and policy objectives in Europe, Russia and Eurasia, and South Asia.
Prior to joining Boeing, Mr. Lopp held various significant positions during his ten-year tenure with the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration (ITA), particularly with the U.S. Commercial Service. In his role as Regional Manager for Turkey, Russia, and Central and South Asia in the Trade Advocacy Center, he skillfully managed a revolving, multi-billion-dollar caseload of commercial advocacy campaigns across diverse industries, including aerospace, aviation infrastructure, and defense.
Additionally, Mr. Lopp served as the U.S. Business Liaison to the World Bank for two years, providing invaluable assistance to U.S. exporters bidding on Bank-funded international tenders and counseling project sponsors on the instruments available through the International Finance Corporation. His extensive experience also encompasses roles with the Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade and the Central & Eastern Europe Business Information Center. Before his federal service, Mr. Lopp gained valuable insights into economic and international development while working for the Greater Akron Chamber in Akron, Ohio, and as a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps for two years. His professional journey began in public relations, marketing, and broadcast journalism. Mr. Lopp earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from Kent State University in 1995. He is married to Sarah Lopp, and they are proud parents to two young children.
