USACC hosts a web conference on Azerbaijan’s economy amid the global pandemic

Washington D.C. - The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) hosted a web conference on “Azerbaijan’s Economy amid the Global Pandemic: Reforms and Post-Pandemic Outlook”. The conference featured Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Rovshan Najaf, President of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Mr. Yusif Abdullayev and Deputy Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Mr. Rufat Atakishiyev.

Speakers briefed the conference participants about the current state of Azerbaijan’s economy, government’s SME support programs during the global pandemic, and shared their views about the post-pandemic outlook.

The conference was attended by American businesses and U.S. Government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, Department of State, and the U.S. Commercial Service.


The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (USACC) is a membership-based 501(c)6 non-profit trade association incorporated in 1995. Our mission is to promote bilateral trade and business ties between the United States and Azerbaijan. In 2000, USACC established Azerbaijan Trade and Cultural Center with an aim to facilitate mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the people of two Nations.
